Hi, I’m Jacki Perrotta and I’m a teaching assistant in the 4 year old Pre-K integrated classroom with Ms. Dunham and Ms. Brenda. I first started working as a teacher for children with special needs in 1982 at Pinewoods Center in Troy. From there I pursued a teaching assistant position for The Troy City School District. Around the same time I got married and had a family of my own with three beautiful daughters. While my children were young I opened up my own nursery school in Wynantskill called Jack and Jill, where I also was the director. One of my daughters then became significantly ill and I needed to take a break from working to stay at home with her. I finally returned to work and I’m so happy I am at St. Jude’s. I’ve been at St. Jude’s for 8 years and I am so thankful and truly blessed to be working with the children and staff. Lastly, my favorite job is loving on my 4 grandbabies. I have 3 granddaughters under the age of 4 and 1 eight month old grandson. They are my greatest blessing!
