Altar Servers for St. Jude Parish/School – For students in grades 3-5 who have celebrated the Sacrament of First Communion and wish to serve the Lord and their school/parish. This is an important ministry to our church and school community. Most training sessions will take place with Fr. Pat following our regular 9:00AM school mas; however 1 is scheduled for Monday, 9/25 at 5:00PM at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Physical Education Classes – Please make sure your child has sneakers (and the proper PE uniform for St. Jude students) on the days they have Physical Education class. If your child does not have sneakers ( and/or the proper uniform) for those days they will have to sit out and not participate in gym class.

Front Walkway/Garden – Over the summer we contracted with Capital Landscaping to redo our front walkway/garden. They did a beautiful job! If you have not noticed it is a memorial garden dedicated to Mr. and Mrs. Zemanick. Tom and Betty were devoted to both our school and parish. If you called them for anything they would be here to help in a matter of minutes, they volunteered for many fundraisers and kept our grounds and buildings looking wonderful. PLEASE respect our school and keep your child/children off of the garden and the brick that runs along the side. We see many of the children running through the garden and balancing on the brick. This was an expense for the school and it took many days to get the garden looking the way it does.

We will not be answering telephone calls from 2:50PM until 3:15PM. All hands are on deck and busy with dismissal. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Reminder for Drop-off & Pick-up Families – When dropping off or picking up students, cars may not park on either side of Dana Avenue (in front of school). Cars that do so are blocking a fire lane and blocking traffic. ALL cars must park in the school parking lot, and parents must use the front entrance.

Thank you to everyone for complyingFor families that pick-up students at dismissal, you must loop through the school parking lot and exit back out Dana Avenue toward Hidley Rd. Ext. YOU CANNOT PASS BUSES WAITING TO BOARD STUDENTS NEAR THE CHURCH!!! Doing so is against the law and North Greenbush police have received complaints of our families violating this law during dismissal. Please comply with procedure for the safety of all of our students and staff! We have seen cars passing the busses on our cameras. We plan on having North Greenbush P.D. keep an eye on this for awhile. PLEASE do not pass the school busses parked by the church!
