Last Wednesday, grades K & 1 took a trip to Liberty Ridge Farm. While at the farm, students were able to enjoy many fun activities. Some of the students spent time navigating their way through the corn maze, while others enjoyed bouncing on the giant jumping pillows. They could compete in races on the gerbil wheels, the Pumpkin Vine 500, and rubber ducky races. Students also saw the farm animals, pig races, and the Hillbilly Band. They were able to stay dry for most of the field trip, and most of the kids were eating lunch under the shady picnic table area when it began to rain. At the end of the trip, students were able to watch the pumpkin cannon and choose a pumpkin to bring home. A great time was had by the kids and adults!
