We are now on to a waiting list for our 4 yr. old full day Pre-K program. The 3yr. old full day Pre-K program is filling up fast!
The End of the Year is Approaching!
Today, 6/14/19 was Pre-K, Kindergarten and 6th grades last day of school
Monday, 6/17/19 is graduation for Pre-K-9AM, Kindergraten-1PM & 6th grade 7PM
Thursday, 6/20/19 is the last day of school for grades 1-5, 11AM dismissal (No CASE)
Monday, 6/24 the Pre-K/Kindergarten Summer Program begins-we are still accepting registrations!
Father’s Day Breakfast – This Sunday, June 16th in Damman Hall (school gym) from 8-11AM. Kids 5 and under are FREE, adults $8.00, kids under 12 $4.00. There will be a raffle for (4) grandstand tickets to a Tri-City Valley Cats game including (4) hotdogs and (4) sodas. All dad’s get one chance to win!
Kindergarten Orientation – Any child entering Kindergarten that is registered with St. Jude the Apostle School for the 2019-20 school year may join us on June 19th at 9:00AM for our Kindergarten Orientation.
Year Books – There are a few yearbooks left. You may purchase one for $20.00 or two for $35.00. The children love them! They have been getting classmates autographs and asking their teachers and staff to sign them. What a nice way to end the school year!
Summer Fun at Highway Bowling Alley – Check the back packs for information in regards to free bowling over the summer. This would be a great way to meet up with some of your friends over the summer and have fun bowling too!
New York State Summer Reading Program – Join Senator Jordan this summer in promoting literacy and indulging in the wonderful world of books. Students and their parents can log on to www.nyread.com , create a profile, record reading progress and earn certificates.
Gently Used Uniform Sale – You are welcome to attend our “Gently Used Uniform Sale” going on now in our front lobby. Our school hours are 7:30AM to 5:30PM. We are asking for a small donation if you find any uniforms that you would like to take. Donation boxes will be on the tables for your convenience.
Student Styles Spring Sale – Student Styles will be having a “Spring Sale” from June 1 to June 15th with 10% off all uniforms, items, in stock, store orders, and web orders. They are located at 15 Cobbee Rd., Latham and can be reached at 518-220-9244.
Paul Effman Music –As the school year comes to a close, we want to offer you the chance to SAVE $25 for each child that you register for next year (2019-2020 school year). You can register students who have been in the program before and new students who will be participating for the first time – all students will receive the discount. Also, if you rent an instrument and plan to rent again next year, you do not need to return it. When you register, choose the “Keep My Current Rental” option. If you do want to keep your rental, please register before your Spring Concert and your instrument will not have to be returned when they are collected. Vacation Bible School – “Roar!” July 8-12, 2019(9:00AM to Noon) and “Escape to Athens with Paul” July 24-28, 2019 (9:00AM to Noon) – Join us for a great time! These programs are designed for children ages 4 to 11 yrs old. The cost for each session is $30.00 per child, $15.00 for each additional sibling. Registration forms were sent home or call the Parish office for more information (518-283-1162).
As always we have our running fundraisers that will continue on into summer! So please continue to keep us in mind!

Colonie Center School Bucks – We came in 9th place this year. Let’s work on climbing up the ladder for next year. School Bucks has ended for this school year but will start up again in August for next year. When shopping at Colonie Center for your school items please remember to save your receipts!
