Monthly Character Education Theme: “Polite”

Children will not attend Mass on Monday, 3/4. Children’s Mass will take place on Ash Wednesday, 3/6. Dress uniform is required.

Registration for the 2019-20 School Year – Registration packets were sent home for the 2019-20 school year. Please register as soon as possible. A $100.00 non-refundable registration fee per family will be needed to hold your child/children’s spot. Pre-K and Kindergarten are starting to fill up! We are now dating the registrations as they come in to keep track of the number of children aloud in each classroom. If we fill up we will start a waiting list.
Twin Town Little League – The Twin Town Little League is accepting registrations for the 2019 baseball season. Children ages 4yrs to 16yrs old can be registered by going online to: www.twintownbaseball.org. If you have any questions you may contact Andy Murphy at: [email protected].
Town of North Greenbush 2nd Annual Free Fun Dance For Grades 3-6 – Saturday, March 9th from 6PM to 9PM in the gym at Town Hall on Main Ave. Refreshments will be available. Event by Cool Cat and Jennifer Panichi’s photo booth will be there.
KOC All You Can Eat Breakfast/Sunday, 3/17/19, 8AM to 11AM – in Damman Hall (school gym) at St Jude the Apostle School Kids 5 and under eat FREE! Adults $8, Kids under 12 $4. The Luck of the Irish $1,000.00 drawing will take place at the breakfast!
2019 KofC Breakfast Survey: Your Feedback Is Requested! As part of a continuing effort to improve the KofC All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, the Knights have created a short online survey to gather feedback on Food Quality, Service Quality, Ambiance, Attendance and Suggestions on improvements.

Supporting Local Charities Has Never Been Easier!
The St Jude the Apostle Knights of Columbus have teamed up with 6 Center Redemption Center located at 461 Main Street in Wynantskill to accept qualifying bottle and can donations to support local charities and those in need.
Simply bring your clean, qualifying empties to 6 Center Redemption in Wynantskill and say they are to support the St Jude Knights of Columbus. They’ll do the rest! That’s it!
Girls Who Code-Troy Public Library – Future geniuses wanted! Create your own: Apps, video games, web pages and more! Girls in grades 3 to 8 are invited to join the Troy Public Library on Saturdays, now to May 11th at 11AM. Classes taught by Amy Flaherty and Chris Spahn from Tech Valley Game Space. Beginners are welcome!
Paul Effman Music Honor Band – The Capital Region Catholic School Honor Band Concert will be held on Sunday, March 24th at 3PM at St. Thomas School in Delmar. The following students represent the “best of the best” musicians from our area schools: Grade 6; Noelle Ascioti, Spencer Giles, Cooper Giles, Keegan Giles, Briana Giles and Sean Moore. Grade 5; Amelia Hein. Congratulations to all of you! Keep on playing!
Front of School-No Parking – We have noticed that there have been vehicles parking in front of school and along the sidewalk for drop off and pick up. There is no parking in front of school during school hours because this space needs to be left open for emergency vehicles and school buses. Please park in the school parking lot during school hours. You could possibly get a ticket for parking in front of the school during school hours. Thank you.
Student Styles Mid-Winter Recess Sale – Student Styles is celebrating their 15th anniversary with 15% off all in stock merchandise (web orders excluded). They will also be having a “Spring Sale” from June 1 to June 15th with 10% off all uniforms, items, in stock, store orders, and web orders. They are located at 15 Cobbee Rd., Latham and can be reached at 518-220-9244.
Save the Date – Monday, May 6th – Annual Community Service Award Dinner for St. Jude Catholic Community-at the Franklin Terrace in Troy at 5:30PM. Please help us honor Mr. & Mrs. Cronin, Frank Giuliano and our very own Miss Carol Larkin! More information will be coming home soon.

Reminder – Each family in grades K to 6 have to complete their 15 hour service commitment before the end of the school year or an additional $1,000.00 will be charged for each child attending our school. There are a few more fundraisers that are need of help. Please attend our PCA meetings to learn more. Next meeting is March 4th at 6:30PM.
Save the Dates – Spring Concert Thursday, 4/11 and St. Jude the Apostle School Annual Car Show/Transportation Fair will be held on Saturday, May 11th.
