First Grade Christmas Wishes

First grade is getting ready for this Christmas season by thinking about needs vs. wants. They had the opportunity to think about others needs before themselves in a Christmas ornament writing activity. The students came up with one Christmas wish they had for other people that would make a positive difference in the world. Some of the 1st grade wishes are:

“My wish for Christmas is for everyone to have a friend.”

“My wish for Christmas is for all puppies to have a home.”

“My wish for Christmas is for my friends to have a Merry Christmas.”

“My wish for Christmas is for everyone to have a family.”

”My wish for Christmas is for my family to have a good Christmas.”

“My wish for Christmas is for everyone to be happy.”
