Here is what this year’s Halloween celebration will look like:
- This year’s celebration will be on Friday, October 30th.
- The children will have an Out-of-Uniform day and will be allowed to wear clothing that will fit easily under their costumes.
- K-6 students may bring a costume to school that they can pull on over the clothes they wear to school, or they may dress in Halloween colors and/or themed clothing. No hair color, face paint or crazy hair styles please.
- Pre-K students should arrive to school wearing a costume that is comfortable enough to leave on for the entire day OR in Halloween themed clothing.
- Please take care in purchasing costumes that children can sit at desks while wearing.
- Each class will put on costumes and have a classroom party while remaining in their
classrooms. Children will not be allowed to change in bathrooms.
- Teachers will arrange small classroom parties with snacks and activities during the day at a time that is convenient with their class’ schedule.
- Families will not be permitted in the building for the class parties.
- Mrs. Hoffay will provide a Zoom invite to each classroom teacher who will project the meeting on the class Smart Board and/or computers and the children will watch as Mrs. Hoffay moves from classroom to classroom sharing each class’ costumes with the rest of the student body. A virtual parade of sorts!
