3RD GRADE GAZETTE
WEEK OF MAY 11TH – MAY 15TH
ELA with Miss Jeffers: This week in Grammar we will be learning about future tense verbs. We will also play Jeopardy to review different concepts we have learned this year: nouns, verbs, adjectives, and also adverbs. In Reading Comprehension, we will continue to read passages and articles and answer questions. We will also continue to practice the R.A.C.E. strategy. Making Words will be another fun activity to practice spelling and also see who can find the most words!
Homework: Read each night for 15-20 minutes
Math with Mr. Giuliano: We are finishing our last Topic of 3rd Grade! Measuring Time and Mass. No homework.
Science/Social Studies with Mrs. Baaki: This week in science, 3rd grade will begin Unit 4, our final unit of the school year. We will explore weather patterns and how weather can cause natural disasters.
